Should we follow just these 6 rules and not use any discernment as to the validity of the text we are reading? I believe reading the bible is indeed a good thing to do but the guidelines you provide do not allow the reader to question the text. In fact your guidelines require blind unquestioning belief in the text rather than a thoughtful approach that would allow God to prove himself through the reading. Encouraging followers not to question but to only accept is a dangerous road for all. Should we not read critically as well?
